ये कहानी नहीं एक कड़वी सच्चाई है जिसे लोग मान नहीं सकते क्योकि आज का समय आधुनिक है इसमें साइंस को ज्यादा महत्त्व दिया जाता है और भूत-प्रेतों की ओर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया जाता लोग इसे अंध विश्वास मान बैठे हैं।
इस कहानी में पात्रों के नाम बदल दिये गये हैं।
ये कहानी प्रारम्भ होती है उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजीपुर जिले से जहाँ पर लोग बहुत ही खुशहाल जीवन को जीते हैं और सभी में भाईचारा रहता है। सभी लोग मस्ती से अपना जीवन जीते हैं।
वहीं पर एक लड़का मनोज जिसकी शादी हुए लगभग 7 या 8 साल हो चुके थे हमेशा अपने सरदर्द से परेशान घर पर ही रहता था और कोई काम धन्धा नहीं कर पाता था, उसकी धर्मपत्नी उर्मिला अपना पत्नी धर्म बहुत ही अच्छे परीके से निभाती हुई अपने पति और सास ससुर, देवर और ननद के साथ अपना जीवन दुःखभरे तरीके से जी रही थी उनलोगों को कोई कष्ट नहीं था सबकुछ अच्छे तरीके से चल रहा था, दृःख था तो केवल संतान का।
मनोज और उर्मिला के कोई संतान नहीं थी वो लोग बहुत ही निराश रहते थे, दोना अपने आप को बड़े से बड़े डॉक्टरों को दिखाया करते थे, कभी डॉक्टर कहता मनोज के अंदर कमी है तो कभी उर्मिला के अंदर कमी है, डॉक्टर लोग बस केवल दोनों में से किसी एक की कोई कमी निकाल कर उसकी दवाई चालू कर देते, पर कोई असर नहीं दिखाई देता।
दोनों अपनी कभी हार नहीं मानते जहाँ उन्हें कोई कहता यहाँ सब ठीक हो जायेगा आप इस डॉक्टर को दिखाईये, वो दोनों तुरन्त तैयार हो जाते और उस डॉक्टर को दिखाने चले जाते, पर पहले जैसे डॉक्टरों का जवाब, फिर से वही जवाब।
दोनों का जीवन बड़े दुःख के साथ कट रहा था हमेशा दवाई ही खाते हुये दिखाई दिया करते थे।
कुछ समय बाद मनोज कि छोटी बहन तारा की शादी हुई।
कुछ समय बीता।
मनोज के जीजा को जब मनोज की हालत तारा से पता चली तो मनोज के जीजा ने तारा से एक तीर्थ स्थान का जीक्र किया और तारा ने अपने भाई मनोज से जिक्र किया पर उसकी किसी ने नहीं सुनी।
कुछ समय और बिता एक दिन मनोज का जीजा ससुराल आया हुआ था, अचानक उसकी तबीयत खराब हुई, उसे ठंड लगने लगी और शरीर गर्म हो गया, वह छत वाले कमरे में गया और वहाँ लेटा तभी मनोज आया और देखा मेरे जीजा की तबीयत खराब हो गई है उसे ठंड लग रही है मनोज ने अपने जीजा को कई कम्बल उढाया और कई रजाई उढाई। और उसने बोला डॉक्टर से दवा ले लो। पर जीजा ने कहा मुझे बस दर्द का टेबलेट दे दो मुझंे आराम हो जायेगा।
पर मनोज कहाँ मानने वाला था। वह जीजा को अपने साथ अपनी मार्केट के एक अच्छे जाने माने डॉक्टर के पास ले गया और डॉक्टर को दिखाया।
डॉक्टर के थर्मामीटर से चेक करने के बाद डॉक्टर ने 102 डिग्री बुखार बताया और बोला एक इंजेक्शन लगा देता हूं जिससे बुखार जल्दी उतर जायेगा। पर जीजा ने कहा मुझे दर्द का टेबलेट दे दिजिये मेरे को आराम आ जायेगा।
डॉक्टर ने नहीं माना और तीन खुराक कई सारी दावाईयों की बना के दे दी और बोला ये खाओ और आराम ना हो तो मेरे पर कल आना।
उधर ससुराल में सब को 102 डिग्री बुखार की खबर हो गई थी।
जीजा को लेकर मनोज घर पर आया और बोला आप दवाई खा लो मुझे कुछ काम से बाहर जाना है।
जीजा ने दवाई न खाकर, उपर वाले कमरे में जाकर बिस्तर में से ही अपने इष्ट देवता को प्रार्थना करने लगा, उपर वाले के प्रार्थना कर रहा था कि मेरे साथ ये क्या हो रहा है आप मेरी सहायता किजिये मैं अपने घर पर नहीं हूँ, मैं अपनी ससुराल में हूँ, यहाँ आप मेरी तबियत ठीक कीजिये चाहे तो घर पर मेरी तबीयत खराब हो जाये पर यहाँ आपको ठीक करना होगा।
उपर वाले की भी यही मर्जी रही होगी, तुरन्त मनोज के जीजा की तबीयत ठीक हो गई वो भी बिना किसी दवाई के।
मनोज का जीजा उपर वाले का धन्यवाद करते हुये नीचे आया और घरवालों से बाल्टी मांगने लगा नहाने के लिये सभी आश्चर्यचकित हो रहे थे कि इनकी तबीयत इतनी खराब है और ये नहाने जा रहे हैं तो उन्होंने कहा मुझे कुछ नहीं हुआ है मैं बिल्कुल ठीक हूं,।
और मनोज का जीजा नहाकर अपने सास ससुर से मिलने निकला जो कि दूसरे घर पर थे जो इस घर से लगभग 2 किलोमीटर पर था।
वह वहाँ गया तो वहाँ भी सभी आश्चर्यचकित रह गये उन्होंने कहा कि आपको तो 102 डिग्री बुखार है तो आप यहाँ कैसे आये, पर मनोज के जीजा ने उपरवाले का धन्यवाद करते हुऐ उनसे कहा मेरे प्रभु मुझे कुछ नहीं होने देते मैं बिल्कुल ठीक हूं।
सभी उनके हाथों को छू कर देख रहे थे तो सभी को विश्वास हो रहा था कि इन्हें कोई बुखार नहीं है। यह बिल्कुल ठीक-ठाक हैं।
तब उन्होंने ‘‘‘‘चमत्कार को नमस्कार’’’’’ कहा।
तभी वहाँ मनोज भी आया और वह भी अपने जीजा को देखकर बहुत ही आश्चर्यचकित हो गया, उसने भी हाथों की कलाई को छूकर देखा तो जीजा को बिल्कुल सही सलामत पाया।
तब उसने भी ‘‘‘‘चमत्कार को नमस्कार’’’’’ कहा।
जीजा ने मनोज को तीर्थ स्थान की महिमा सुनाई तो वह भी जाने को तैयार हुआ।
जीजा ने मनोज को कहा अपना तो बहुत चेकअप कराया अब भूतों का भी चेकअप करा लो। जीजा ने विश्वास जताया कि उन पति-पत्नी में कोई कमी नहीं है, ये सब किसी भूत प्रेत की वजह से ही हो रहा है।
मनोज का जीजा, मनोज और उसकी पत्नी को लेकर उस तीर्थ स्थान पर ले गया और उन सबके लिये दुआ मांगी।
और उनलोगों से वहाँ आने जाने को कहा, तो मनोज अपनी पत्नी उर्मिला को लेकर हमेशा उस स्थान पर आने लगा और उस तीर्थ स्थान की महिमा से उर्मिला के शरीर पर से दुष्ट आत्माओं को भूत प्रेतों को ईश्वर ने अलग किया और कुछ समय के अंदर दोनो का शरीर भी ठीक कर दिया।
लगभग 6 महिने के बाद उर्मिला के गर्भ में एक जीवन ईश्वर ने डाला और 9 महिने के बाद एक बहुत ही सुंदर सी कन्या का जन्म हुआ।
उस कन्या को पाकर सभी लोग बहुत खुश हुये और उस कन्या के जन्म के बाद घर में खुशहाली ही खुशहाली आती गई।
अब मनोज और उर्मिला बहुत ही खुशी से जीवन व्यतित कर रहे हैं।
